Logan's Irish Pub

Findlay is truly becoming a foodie destination.  For every chain restaurant we lose on the east side, a new home grown restaurant shows up downtown - or near I-75.  Logan's Pub is locally owned and downtown and is a fantastic place to eat, drink and visit with friends.  I figure now that I've reached my 12th visit it is time to write a review of this fine establishment.  Let's start with the building.... The Logan's have spared no expense and have researched every detail in order to bring a piece of Ireland to northwest Ohio.  When walking into Logan's - you are leaving Findlay for a couple hours and are delivered to one of the finest pubs in New York, Boston, or Dublin... it is truly an exeptional experience.  The bar is beautiful - and well stocked with more than enough Irish whiskey, scotch, burbon, and anything else you might like.  Guiness, Harp, Smithwycks and others, as well as a hard cider that's pretty darn tasty are on tap.  In addition, there are dozens of bottled beers to choose from...

The food is authentic Irish cuisine.  I've had the Shepard's Pie, the Boxty, the fish and chips and a hamburger.  My wife has had the Logan's Mac & Cheese and the rueben.  Everything was outstanding!   And - you MUST try the Leprechan Coins (aka fried pickles...) they are truly magical.  Prices are reasonable and portions are plenty.  They also feature live Irish music on select Saturdays.

I would love to try every 'small dish' on P.F. Chang's appetizer menu, but I know I won't.  Not that I don't plan to go there in future, its just that I know I will probably never get past the first item -   CHANG'S ...
