Texas Roadhouse

Anything with Roadhouse in it has to be good.  Roadhouse Blues - "I woke up this morning and got myself a beer!"... Roadhouse - Patrick Swayze rips a guys larynx out... what more can you want!  How about a great steak, cold beer, friendly service and reasonable prices... that's what you get at Findlay's new restaurant - Texas Roadhouse.

Texas Roadhouse originated in Clarksville, Indiana but it has all the atmosphere, music and flavor you would expect from a Texas establishment.  Whenever I go to a restaurant like Texas Roadhouse or Outback I always order their house sirloin - medium rare.  It was VERY flavorful... maybe a little too much seasoned salt - but I like flavor.  It was cooked perfectly.  The baked potato and baked beans were very good - and the beer was COLD - as promised.  My wife Cathy had the same meal and was equally pleased.  Between the two of us we had two sirloin dinners, two tall beers, and one enormous frozen margarita and the bill with tip was around $40.00.  We went late - around 9:30, so the crowd wasn't bad which may have helped with the service and quality of food.  Check it out - if they're busy have a beer at the bar and enjoy the peanuts!
