West Fest is October 25 in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. They already have dozens of bands scheduled along with a variety of speakers. There are many events and demonstrations taking place as well as my ulitimate musical experience. I have signed up to be one of 3,000 guitar players simultaneously playing Purple Haze at the stage - in honor of Jimi Hendrix. What a wild experience that's going to be! I'll have pictures posted here. I'll also send some reports back to 106.3 the fox and WKXA radio.
Woodstock represented much more than a concert. It was a demonstration of how a city the size of Toledo can all get along peacefully for an entire weekend. Imagine the same number of people as the population of Toledo, Ohio living in peace for an entire weekend with no arrests.
I will continue to fill everyone in on what's going on leading up to the big event.
