My top five guitarists are - in no certain order:
1. Steve Howe - guitarist for Yes. voted best all around guitarist several times in the 1970's by Guitar Player Mag.
2. David Gilmour - Pink Floyd. Can do more with one note than any other guitarist alive.
3. Eric Clapton - nothing else needs to be said.
4. Al Dimeola - jazz guitarist extrordinaire. Check out Return to Forever - Romantic Warrior. His guitar runs are simply second to none.
5. John Williams - Classical guitarist. Started listening to Williams in the 1970's when he was in an instrumental band called Sky. Absolutely fantastic. He is a student of Segovia.There are dozens of other guitarists that most others would put in the mix such as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Chet Atkins, BB King, Albert King, Duane Allman.... on and on.
